aux input on my w203 c class
First post on MBworld. I wanted to see if anybody could tell me how to access an AUX input in this radio?

I'm trying to plug in an IPOD to the car and before I tear the passenger seal apart looking for the connector, I'd like to figure out if its at all possible to access an AUX input on the radio. Also any other suggestions are welcome on how I can incorporate the IPOD into the car.
Thanks,

There have been numerous threads on your question both here and on the W203 forum. Your best bet is to use the search function and to spent the time reading the posts. Then you will have a better idea of which way to go.
if you're thinking about ordering a wiring harness like the A 203 440 18 08 and p'n'p, forget your plan. It doesn't work as the pre-facelift headunits (radios) don't have an pre-amp input.
Only if you've got a C-class from MY05 or newer, the retrofitting of Aux-In with the harness mentioned above is easily possible.
If you've got a pre-facelift C-class, the only chance will be to install an aftermarket adaptor which works as a FM transmitter and seems as a radio station to your headunit.
