Adding voice module to 2000 CLK
I have a 2000 CLK430 Cab with MB phone (startac) and Comand nav. I am going to upgrade the phone with a Mikbox and am interest adding the voice control module and upgrading the compensator so that the MB antena will work with my e815 Motorola. My question is what MB parts do I need to get to acomplish these goals? Thanks for the forum's help.

For Voice module, you need the module and PTT lever. For MIKBOX, you need a MIKBOX kit. I would suggest you replace the PSE with a Timeport PSE or a V60 PSE. I am not sure of MIK supports the startac PSE's.

If you intend to use a cradle you'll also need to check the external antenna in the rear bumper to make sure it's dual-band and not single-band. This is done by verifying part numbers. MB made this change during MY 2000 in preparation for the MY 2001 Timeport launch.
Of course, this is not an issue along with the compensator, if you intend to use Bluetooth.
