Don’t have any personal experience with CDTs, but I keep reading all these great reviews about them. They’re known to be high quality speakers with crisp and clean highs, but mid bass is average (guess it depends on your installation and sound deadening). They’ve been compared to MB Quarts, Bostons, DLS, & Focal, which are some top quality brands out there.

I had the HD 6.5 components in my tahoe and I'm extremely please with their midbass, tweeters are perfectly matched. Customer support is awesome as well.
