V60 Bluetooth Adapter and Treo 650???

V60 Bluetooth Adapter and Treo 650???
Hello all,
I purchased the puck yesterday and can not seem to get the unit and my Treo toi hold a connection. Once I sync the two I get a display on the radio screen that says activating phone and then it allows me to enter a number, however, then it drops the connection and I get an "insert phone" message.
Can anyone help here?

It's likely the carrier's particular software
I have a Treo 650 with Cingular, and i was skeptical at first (i really bought it to run my wife's Cing. Razr, which it does perfectly). However, whenever i am in the car with my Treo, it is PERFECT. It downloads the phonebook and everything. Voice dialing also works. So I'm guessing you either have another carrier than I do, or maybe you don't have the latest and greatest (for what that's worth since it's PALM) update to the software.
I know i didn't offer you a solution, per se, but wanted you to know it can work.

Can you tell me what the "Puck" is, how to purchase it, how much it costs, and what it does? I have an 06 ML500 that was apperently blue tooth ready. The dealer is telling me I need to pay additional $2000 to get the cradle, and computer hooked up. I explained to him I don't want cradle, just want bluetooth to work for a Treo 650 and he gets very confused.
Does anyone have any idea how I can do this or if its possible. I have no problem paying $500 to make this happen. I do have a problem paying $2000, especially when the car was sold to me as bluetooth capable.

Treo 650
I am able to use the Treo 650 (sprint) with the V60 puck. However, the phone book does not work. With an incoming call, the call is automatically answered. To have an outgoing call, I must dial the numbers on the Treo, and the call will automatically taken over by the car.
When I am not using the phone, it is not initialized or linked to the UV 60. When the phone is being used, the links up after a delay of approximately 4 to five seconds.
Hopefully, when I get the new soon to be released Treo for Cingular, the phonebook Bluetooth linking will work better

I got the puck as well for my car using a Cingular SLVR 7. I get the same problem as well. I have to play with the puck taking it in and out a few times until I get it connect. I called AWS and they told me they have not heard of any problems, but I am now not sure if that is true by reading these threads.
I am going to take it to the dealership in a couple of weeks to have them trouble shoot the problem. If they can't fix the problem, I am going to return the puck.

Also, Treo is now very interested in ensuring compatibility with OEM Bluetooth car systems. They will join DCAG's next US handset certification testing this Fall. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this will result in some software patches for older Treo models too.
