How do you replace the knobs on a Comand unit?

How do you replace the knobs on a Comand unit?
I have a comand 2.0 unit and the rubber portion on the knobs are starting to peel off. I think this has something to do with my dog gnawing on the knobs when I leave him alone in the car. Anyway, I was wondering if these knobs are replaceable, how it would be done, and where I could purchase replacement knobs from.

you can't purcahse replacement knobs. Sold with the comand unit only.

so to replace the knobs I would have to replace the whole comand unit? if I could somehow locate the comand knobs could I replace them?

yes you could but you'll have to remove the comand, then take the face off, then take the face apart to get to the knobs.

I just need to replace the rubber covering over the knobs. Can I just slide a rubber cover over the knobs to fix the problems?
