I'm sure someone has probably asked this at some point, but...
Is it possible to add Tele-Aid to an existing car if it doesn't have it?
Oficially, the answer is no, but they say "Where there's a will, there's a way"... advice?

.........confused. Add tele-Aid as in wire it into a pre-2000 MB? I dont think so. But if you have a post-2000 Mb, you already have tele-Aid. Just the 800 number and subscribe. Yes you bcan subscribe even if you did not subscribe at the time you bought your car.

My 2000 C230k has the Tele-Aid option, buttons and everything. I just need to call and activate the service, which I recommend everyone should do. Check out my post at ///benzsport.com about an incident we had with the Tele-Aid/SOS service...

Tele Aid is optional...
...so not everyone has it... like myself. That's why I asked. If someone could provide more details I would appreciate it, because according to my dealership TeleAid cannot be installed if it wasn't ordered with the car.
