BOSE + Sub/Amp
For those who tears their few hairs off for this thread, I'm sure it have been asked of before, but after 2 hours (really) of browsing this forum, I still have uanswered questions.
I'm looking for a way to hook up a external amp with a sub too my BOSE system, since I like the system as it is (Front, back, sound quality etc), but not much oooomph.
I can't
find a wiring map/chart for the system, I read somewhere a dude had disconnected the subs and used the speaker wiring for signal to a external amp, but another place I read something about signal strength diffs.
By know you're surely understood where I'm going. Got answer ?

Well i have my bose system with amp and sub i didnt do it myself i had a car audio place do it they had to get a speacial cord i think it was like 60 70 dollars it sound great after you tweak the system a little becuase the sub is a lot louder than the speakers so you might drown the sound and make sure you give the speakers more power to also help avpid the problem

You need a Line Output Converter, it takes the high level speaker output that drives your BOSE sub and converts it to low level signal wires(RCA's) to drive your aftermarket amp.
