Installing Alpine CDA-9857 in 1999 E300?
Hi -

Can anyone here tell me what would be involved in installing an Alpine CDA-9857 head unit in my '99 E300 with the Bose sound system?

They're reasonably inexpensive on Amazon, and I do have the radio tool to pull the stock unit out of the dash. Is this really a DIY project, or am I better off going to a professional installer? Are there instructions online anywhere?
