? for the Guys with Logic 7 and aftermarket subs (Clipping)
Did you guys use the output of the sub and left the cross over on the amp flat or off?
I can't seem to turn my bass up or else my amp start clipping and turn off. Hence there are hardly any mid bass in the cabin.
I can turn the bass on the command all the way down and the gain from the amp up and it sounds real good but not good enough. I'm using a Soundstream 1002 bridge @ 4ohms into an Eclipse Alum. 12

In this same arena,
I'd like to hook up a Boozuka (sp) self power sub woofer to my Harmon Karon subwooker in my 2007 clk 63.
I'd like to know how to access the subwoofer and then tap into its feed to power up the Boozoka.
Do I remove the rear seats, if so how?
Or do I remove the plastic sub woofer port between the rear seat, if so how?
Any help/ comments are appreciated.

Secondly, thanks for hijacking my thread.
Thanks for the bump anyways.
I'll be nice and give you a hand here:
If your CLK is anything like the E class you should have cloth grill on the rear deck. That should pop right out by pulling, It'll take a little pressure but it'll pop right out. There should be two pairs of wires connected to the sub. They're DVC sub so your amp is bridging. Hence you only need to tap into 1 pair of wires and run that to your subs. If you got the amplified version of the bazooka, then u don't need a remote turn on and I believe it already have a high input.
If not you'll need a Low Output Converter as well as a low voltage turn on like a TR4.
Thanks again for Hijacking my thread.

post your result back once you're done.
Don't buy a cheap LOC, I brand some no brand name LOC and it seem extremely hot and I can't even lower the output end to avoid the clipping.
I just picked upa Stinger Peripherals SVen2 LOC and it seem to have the capability of taking a mono input by bridging its' input and giving 2 RCA mono out into the amp. I think this would be nice. Lets see if that helps with the clipping. I'll let you know in a few hours once I get home.
