COMAND experts: should this model be mp3 compatible?

COMAND experts: should this model be mp3 compatible?
Hi everyone.

I'm looking at purchasing a used COMAND unit, but the vendor does not know if the unit is mp3 compatible. The unit's specs are as follows:

manufacture date 51/04
Model Number: BE 7024
Part number: A 211 870 02 89 001

Are there any COMAND experts that could tell me whether or not this unit should be able to play mp3?

It would be MOST appreciated.
