GL320cdi with High Speed Broadband Internet & Router
Since it is getting so cheap to have broadband in your car nowadays, anyone have ideas or pitfalls to add Broadband?
The hardware with Cat-6 Cables was only $225 (US) - and Verizon gives unlimited air time for it. I am using a Linksys cell to router system, with dc filtered power. ($179 for router, $49 for Verizon Card, rest for Cat 6 cables.
Anyone had experience in this? Will post pics when done.

I have just installed slimline PC in my car w in dash 7inch touchscreen. I left all original equipment including comand. I have sprint w broadband phone. I use bluetooth to my PC when i get into car and have broadband internet through my phone. Already paid for. Depending on how much i use it I may add wireless card

I also talked to a guy today who is using Skype. He can talk to ANY phone in the world for $29 a YEAR. Yup 29 bucks a year. Unlimited calls. It's sorta neat indeed. He can talk to Japan or South America all he wants in his car over the internet. And he can receive calls also - all for free (well included in the $29 a year pricing. What a deal....
Relatives in Sweden? Russia? Pakistan? Australia? Get a hands free set up and chat all you want in traffic.
Telephone Companies must be shaking in their financial boots right now. How are they gonna sell phone and mobile phone service if people can use the internet for free.
Hard wired cable & telephone companies are the next to go.
