Compatible phone for '01 S55
I have searched this site for an answer and I cannot seem to find it. Can anyone please tell me where I can find what phones will work with my system? It has a cradle in the armrest, other than that it will not plug into my Verizon Razor phone. The cradle plug is too wide.
Thank you!

1. If the phone kit you have in your car is for a Timeport phone (and the PSE is not auto sensing), you will need to replace the PSE and the phone cradle (see the PSE's listed below from the Mikbox site), so that you can add a V60 bluetooth puck; or
2. If your system is one for a V60 phone, all you should have to do is add the bluetooth puck (it retails for $325, but you can sometimes find them on ebay for $265 or so.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the info Dick, very much appreciated!
I contacted the wireless4mb site and their best opinion of my current phone system is Startac or Timeport. I would like to utilize the existing phone system, with all the built-in controls from the steering wheel etc. Some of the opinions I've read here is the reception is suspect using the BT puck, so here is what I am thinking. Pick up a v60s phone on eBay ~$50, update my pse and cradle and add another phone line for the v60s that stays in the car. I would only give out that number to people I want calling me, personal use, and call forwarding possibly on the v60s to my primary phone.
I assume the "best" pse option for my car would be the Q682-0845 or 0886? Or would any of the pse's listed below work?

V60 phone
The V60 phone is unlikely to be an option unless it has an Enhanced 911 capability. Cingular is ceasing to use TDMA (which is what a Cingular Mercedes V60 phone uses) either this February or February of 2008, and Verizon will not light a Mercedes V60 phone that does not have the Enhanced 911.
Apparently there is a new V60 Mercedes phone with Enhanced 911, but you would likely have to purchase it new. I really don't know alot about this phone. Call your dealer and ask for a price.
The PSEs you mention would work, as would the auto sensing pse. Don't buy a phone for $50 +/- on ebay because you probably won't be able to get it initialized/connected.

The only phone I would considered would have to have a clear esn. I have been reading the mikbox site and this looks to be easier as far as shopping around for miscellaneous parts. One stop shopping there. I need to go pull the part number from my pse and verify it with the mikbox site. Currently that appears to be the easiest solution.
