Dont remember prices off the top of my head. JL Audio is priced a little higher than most but its better than most as well. It is some very very good equipment.

There are numerous smaller companies that are just as good performance wise as JL for a fraction of the cost.

Companies like Stereo Integrity, FI Car Audio, and Sound Splinter. Much of JL's price is for the name. I am not saying JL is bad, but you can find better for less with a little reseach.

Think about it, would you want a driver that is like everyone elses on the block, a company that spends a monstrous chunk of its profits on promotion and advertising and much less on design and engineering, over pay for its performance, and when you want to trade out see that there is no resale value because the market is flooded?

You can order very good, authorized, equipment on line, and do the install your self. It would save a ton of money and you would have a much better feeling about it. Anyone can build a sub enclosure with some decent tools and some good plans.
