Front load CD changer question

My COMMAND owner's manual that came with my car is useless.

How do you REMOVE CD's from the dash mounted front load CD changer? I've been unable to figure it out. Help, please!

On the E Class (211) CD changer, you can momentarilly depress the button of the CD you want to change, or press & hold CD button 1 which will put the changer into the "empty all" mode.

If you're talking about the single slot CD in the COMAND, the center button under the screen says "Eject", and it does.

Okay, thanks. I'm dense, though. Which screen should the command be on when you push the buttons? Can a CD be playing (other than the one you want to eject)? And are you talking about the numbered buttons (e.g., 1, 2, etc.)? TIA.

On the E Class pressing the Eject button below the comand screen will eject the single cd at any time no matter what's being displayed onscreen.

The CD changer has buttons on it which correspond to each CD in the magazine. You do not use the 1-0, * # buttons for anything except to choose which CD you want to hear, or when you are in FM mode to choose a random station. (101.1FM gets summoned by pressing " *1011 ".) When you are in CDC mode, if you press the 3 (maybe *3... its been a while for me) button while cd 4 is playing, you will then hear CD3 instead.

From here it sounds like you have never seen the cd changer in your car. I have ONLY seen/used these things in my E Class, other classes may differ.
