Ripping the stock w203 2005 Audio out ..
I am installing the IVA-D100 from Alpine with nav and blue tooth and XM ... so its alot fo work ... new changed new amp etc etc..
does anyone know of a face plate manufacture for this ?
Faceplate woes...
Dose anyone know if there is any way to take out the existing radio of a C classs 05 06 m.y. (Non Navi) and fab a custom face plate piece, does anyone know a company that makes these ? a double din or a single din ... i can always return the single din Alpine center channel i picked up...
so basically i am curious about fabing a custom radio trim piece for a double din radio check the photos there not the best but its what it looks like... the AMG is mine and the other is a internet photo... check it out ???

The metra# 99-8711 is for the '01-04 models, don't use that kit...
Metra also has the #99-8712 (designated for c-class, but can also accommodate the clk and slk) Interestingly enough they also have a 99-8713 for the slk (but is doesn't list compatibility with c-class) I don't see why it wouldn't be interchangeable if the #8712 is (perhaps someone else could shed some light..?!?), but with the 8713 they have option for 2-din while the other kit doesn't have additional plate provision for this.
