Internet while moving, WiFi in the car and around it.

One of my enterprising clients has demonstrated that office technology can be used in your car whilst moving. This allows PDA's, Laptops and other WiFi devices such as Skype portable Phones to be used.

The technology is based on a wireless broadband PCMCIA card subscription which slots into the router giving it authority to empower the whole car with Wifi.

In Sydney it gives seamless coverage to the passenger who may be working on eletronic documents or even back to office operations such as using WISnet or EPCnet.

The cost of the router is quite low and the cost of the broadband service is regulated by the providers.

It is invisible in the car as it is hidden in the parcel shelf in the rear. Since there is no Harmon Kardon there is no problem with space.
We are considering to install high gain antennas for the PCMCIA card which has an expansion port for additional signal strength. This will expand the function to more remote areas.
