experience with navigation upgrades?
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had experience installing a indash lcd unit (1 din with a fold out screen) and keeping the stock head unit so i can keep audio control with the steering wheel?
I went to a place and they want like 500 bux to custom make a plastic face for the w203.
My plan was to slide the stock head unit down 1 slot and add the lcd to the top. ANyone with ideas? I am sure that I want to keep the stock head unit also.

Take a close look at the headunit and the opening for it and where the lower bay is. The sides of the head unit are not parallel, and the opening gets narrower towards to bottom. You can put a standard DIN size unit in the bottom bay, but the cassette deck isn't standard.
