Aftermarket Deck

I bought the Alpine IVA-W200 so I took it to the audio store to have it installed to learn that it's goin to cost around $700 to install becuase the fiberoptics make it hard to install. Has anyone else put an after market deck in their car with out spending a fortune? I'm looking for something that will power my subwoofer correctly.

lol so these guys at the shop were basically lying to me telling me i'm going to need another amp n cross over wires or what ever. I am deff not goin to try that though i will deff mess it up haha but i'm thinking of printing this out and bringing it to them. i hope the pioneer deck he has is kind of the same as my alpine there both dual din and everything and i already have that dual din kit to make it flush.

How were they trying to rip you off? They were correct.

If they changing his HU why would they need anything else? Let him choose his amp and speakers. Now if he was to keep his HU the fibers would be a problem and he would need a 3sixty or clean sweep
