adding sirius

Does any one have a fix for adding satellite radio (or an ipod) to a 2006 SL that came without it from the factory, besides an FM transmitter unit??? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Terrestial radio sucks!

on the 06, you can add the factory unit. You may require a 3 pin harness, fiber, bracket.

Thanks for that reply. My dealer is unaware of any retro fit for the 2006 model year. Is it a plug in to the factory unit?

more questions. if you get the factory setup it is not portable. has anyone got a sirius stiletto 100 portable unit that will tie into the car aux port and then be removable to use in other cars and walk around? does this portable unit even work thru the car without a fm transmitter? anyone tried to use the sirius portable unit with headphones in a airplane or airliner? thanks
