Interesting ICE In A W211.
Hey guys,
I was searching for W211 related images on Google the other day when this picture happened to capture my attention:
Unfortunately, though I saved a copy of the image itself, I failed to record the name of the website that it was originally located on.
Thus, if anyone knows where I might find out more information about this vehicle I would be grateful for your assistance.

You probably saw it on Wolfgang's ML page (radios and navigation section) at http://www.whnet.com/4x4/radios.html - but only the photo seems to be posted, no writeup.

Yup. However, it looks like a test setup of some sort - perhaps for either a heads-up display (HUD) to be projected on the windshield, or for a different COMAND display (though with the features and symbology on the large display, a HUD seems more likely).

Many thanks Skylaw that *is* where I found it. :-)
It's a shame there is no furthur info on it to be found there though... probably why I did not save the site.
Interesting point about the passanger airbag, however they may have removed that to make room for additional hard drive space.
