W202 (C230, 97) Audio system question.
Hi, Guys.
Recently I upgraded all sound system in my BMW e39. I am so happy with what I did, so on a whim decided to upgrade headunit in my daughter's c230. I read this and club202 forums, but still not clear about sound system in that car. I want to replace head unit because current (factory) unit has only tape, but my dauhgter want CD with mp3 playback and iPod integration. So I am thinkin about aftermarket headunit. I do not know what type of system c230 currently has, I mean bose or just basic. How can I figure it out, what should I be looking for to identify? Another question, suppose I have basic audio (not bose), are all speakers powered by headunit amplifier, or there is separate amplifier in that car?
