Bose replacement speaker question
ok, so my 2000 E class is equipped with the Bose 1 or 2 ohm setup.
One of the speakers crackles a bit, so Id like to replace it.
However, I've had a hard time finding new bose speakers and damn are they pricey.
So, I figured id replace the front door speakers with a 6 1/2" Infinity Kappa 62.7 which is a two ohm speaker. They are significantly cheaper ($79) and from what I've seen, should be much more crisp.
I also figured id replace the rear door speakers with a set of 3.5" Infinity Reference 3022i for ($50). These are 2 ohm as well.
Is anybody familiar with these speakers, and the bose setup?
