iPhone and MB Bluetooth?
Hi Everyone, did anybody get an iPhone yet? I was curious to see how well it will integrate with the OEM phone system and bluetooth puck. I will use it in my ML500.
I heard that BMW BT is compatible with iPhone. I hope MB will compatible too. I didn't check though, because I'm going to wait few months when Apple fix some minor problrms with iPone. Probably they will also choose other screen supply.

I would hope they would fix a couple of big problems before considering the smaller ones.

Some folks are reporting on BenzWorld that they have paired the iPhone successfully but do not get phone book download. They were using the "old" puck. Have not seen reports with the new 2.0 puck.
1. Better signal strength than our Razr and Samsung Blackjack
2. Phone book and last numbers list downloads
3. Voice quaility in and out is EXCEPTIONAL. Listeners don't think I am in the car...
4. AND it works in the iPod system with full menus. When you connect an iPhone to the iPod cable, the iPhone
says "...not approved thing, want airplane mode?" Say NO and it works just fine, and no cellular noise at all through the audio system.Bottom line - the iPhone is PERFECT for the Benz

Several contributors in this and other forums are reporting success with the iPhone, using the new and the old MHI puck as well as the (only) V60 puck. The success involves steering wheel controllability and phone book downloads, as well.

The only contacts that are showing up in the GL Command Contact list are AT&T Services, which are found on your iPhone at:
Settings > Phone > AT&T Services
Check Bill Balance *225#
Directory Assistance 411
Pay My Bill *729
View My Minutes *646#
Voice Connect *08
None of my real 500 contacts on the iPhone are making it to the command screen.
I do however see Last Numbers Dialed list numerically and alphabetically with names.
I also see Calls Received the same way.
