Need help remembering Ohmage info

Need help remembering Ohmage info
So, I'm replacing the 2 terrible 6" Bose woofers in the rear deck lid of my 02 E320.
I got an LOC to feed an amp, but if the speakers were each 2 Ohms, does any of this matter for which Ohmage I choose to wire from the amp to the speakers?
I guess I'm also asking if I am limited to having to find a sub with 2 Ohm rating (as well as an amp to keep everything @ 2 Ohms.)
Or does none of this matter with an LOC and I won't be bound to 2 Ohms for everything?

Found the answer...LOCs only transmit the audio signal and therefore you can add whatever you want and are not restricted to any kind of Ohmage comming from the Bose system.
