I have an F#1 system in my CLK that sounds amazing, but I am parting out the car. I have posted the amps for sale in the clasified section if anyone is interested.

F#1 Status is still highlighted as Alpine's top line on their website http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/ and their communications manager knows nothing about it being discontinued. Where are you getting that information? I have seen the "discontinued" message come up on an online retailer's site, but that's only b/c they aren't allowed to carry it. You can only buy it through an authorized installer.

The retailers that are authorized by Alpine to sell "online" and there are only 4 or 5, don't carry such high end products. F1 is being replaced by a compettition line that is more affordable. I have a setup, sitting in my desk, still in the box, speakers and amps. With the introduction of the PDX series last year, you get a much smaller footprint and the same power. X-Type speakers are still the "High End" not as High as F1, but like I said a competition series speaker is on it's way. Being that F1 is handmade, those that currently have it, can still get replacements for it.
