Voice Control Recognition Issue-GL
I have an 07 GL320 with voice control. 8 of 10 times, when i say "dial number" and she says "the number please", when i begin to give the numbers, the system doesn't recognize the first one i say. Then i have to cancel, and this is frustrating to say the least. My wife's W210 voice control works much better. In the GL, i feel as though i have to yell to be heard.
Am i alone in having this happen/should i address with dealer? Just wondering if there are other experiences others could share. THanks.

Majority of the time the VC in the GL450 works fine. But it is having problem recognizing my number "2". It is very difficult for my to dial by number with "2" in it. Next time I will say number "2" in German and maybe that will work.

Have you tried the "customize" option on your voice control? That allows you to train it to your voice and pronunciation a bit better. Takes about 5 minutes.

I do get a kick out of the responses to a command sometimes... Funny thing is... it reminds me of trying to communicate with an "actual" female sometimes because instead of trying to fight with the thing to get it to understand, it's easier to just do it yourself. Sounds familiar??..LOL
I have and Idea that might work. Try to say what you think it wants to hear instead of what you really mean, I think that works better......LOL
There is a very specific reason that voice is a female......
