Thinking about an iPhone for my wife's care, which has the v.60 bluetooth puck/cradle, purchased and installed a couple of months ago. But I see that v.1 of the puck is iffy with phonebook download. My question is how do I figure out which version of the puck I have? Is there a code number on the puck? Thanks.
As far as I know the V60 adapter never changed. The MHI bluetooth module that replaced the V600 and V710 was superceded earlier this year. Its part # is B6-7-87-5878. Right now I can't remember what the old part number is, but if I remember I will look tomorrow while at work, and tell you. I will also check to see if the V60 adapter has been superceded.

The V60 adapter did change but late last year I purchased mine in Nov and received the newer one.
Either way, if you ordered your adapter a few months ago, it is the newer version. to be sure just check your receipt that you should have gotten via email when you placed your phone order the part number is listed there.
There i still no guarantee it will work 100% with your i-phone you just have to give it a try.
