COMAND 2.0 Question.
Do the reverse going back to the starting point.
The interstate feature was added with the 2003 or 2004 editions of the CD set, as I recall. If your discs are older, you need to update them anyway. I guarantee there have been changes to I-95 routing, especially around DC and in Northern Virginia.
If you decide to stick with an outdated disc set - set a destination that is near the edge of coverage for the disc for your starting region. Using the Mid-Atlantic disc driving to Florida, I used to set a small town in North Carolina that was along my route as my first destination. I'd pull off at a rest stop near that town, and put in the Southeast disc, and enter the final destination then. For a short while (maybe 5-10 miles) I would not have map features, but all I had to do was get back on the interstate and drive. As soon as i entered the disc's region, mapping would appear.
Believe me, updating the disc set is a much better way to go. About $260 or so from your dealer.
