Instrument cluster clock

Does anybody know how to change the instrument cluster clock if the COMAND system has been removed/replaced (w208)? The option to change the clock does not appear when I flip through the pages using the steering wheel controls.

Any way to get the instrument cluster to realize that COMAND is gone?

Thanks!

have you tried consulting your owners manual?

Do you mean there is no menu for it on the instrument cluster? If not, then the cluster must need version coding to make it aware that the time needs to be adjusted from the cluster menu.

Diesel Benz, exactly, it does not show up in the cluster menu. (I had assumed this was because it was supposed to be set through COMAND.) Where/how do you change or get a new cluster version?

I did not check this but if it can be done, the only option to activate it on the existing cluster would be via SDS, at your dealer (or an independent having the star diagnosis system).
