2003 S600 MP3-CD changer?
Hi, I have a 2003 S600, it has comand and a MB cd changer already.
I would like to play CD MP3's or preferably DVD-MP3s (just the 4.5Gb storage of a dvd , filled with MP3's).
From reading the posts, I cannot upgrade the comand unit to the 2004 unit which plays cd/dvd mp3's.
Can I install an aftermarket changer which plays cd/mp3's (or dvd-mp3s)? Would it let you use the steering wheel controls?
Would I have to remove the existing MB one? Or is there another connection?
If this is not possible, is the only option removing the comand unit? (does not give me the warm & fuzzy!
Not interested in the ipod solution if at all possible.
