I have just bought a GL450 and was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to control the RSE system from the front seats. With a 4 year old and a 2 year old, trying to work this from a remote control is going to be a nightmare ! DOes anyone have any tricks they could share ?

do a video interface to the front command screen to display the video of whats on the rear and run a remote eye repeater to the front from the rear DVD player.

 

Any recommendations for an appropriate video interface ?

you can try Nav-tv or tvandnav2go

 

RSE without the remote eye in front is so stupid. I can't control nothing at all. The kids still young they don't know how to use the remote.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

x164 module by navtv, and IR repeater, will display on front screen as if it came as a factory option, and the IR repeater can be hid in the AC vent
