I have a 2000 C230 Kompresser and was wondering how I can find out what kind of system/speakers I have installed. AMP location if there is one, etc,etc. Any help would be great...

Look at the speaker grilles to see if they have a little Bose logo on them. If not check the rear speaker deck to see if those grilles have the logo.
I believe the amp is located behind the trunk lining on the left side, if you have one, but I'm not 100% sure.

 

I checked the Grilles and there is no logos? Would it say in the options codes?

code 810 is the code for upgraded sound, bose or H/K. it would appear you do not.

 

254 would be Radio MB Audio 30 USA
460 means some Canada specific parts or setup (lights setup etc. ?)
668 related to packaging for shipping from the factory
800 means MY 2000 car but the build date may be 1999.
955 should be Equipment package Elegance, car dependent set of extras.

The 254 Code for the MB Radio, is there a booster in the system or is it a pretty standard setup??
Also I wanted to install a phone in my car and was wondering if anyone had any leads on equipment for sale, all I have currently is the pre-wiring that is installed. I was talking to Skylaw at one time but we didn't keep in touch..
Any ideas on where I can find some cheap equipment??

Yes; but I have no part numbers. I had referenced you to the the phone bulletin for your car, which has part numbers; and to the dealer, as I recall. I'm not a dealership parts guy.
