Infinity Basslink

I am considering the purchase of an Infinity Basslink II unit to add to my '02 C320 with Bose. Anyone have the Basslink that would like to share their experiences? I'm just wondering if it's really worth it, meaning if it makes that much of a difference. I'm not looking to crack the pavement or anything, just looking for a little more oomph in the bass area.

If i get it, i'm not sure if it would be a good idea to leave the stock Bose sub in or if it would be better to remove it. I'm seeing some refurbs on eBay going for $200.

I have a Basslink T in my 500e and had the single 10" Basslink in my 190e. A friend of mine installed the single 10" Basslink in his 300e and the results were less then impressive.

I like the Basslink T in the 500e, it hits hard and tight and only consumes a small amount of space.

The Basslink II, with its better driver and increased power, should should quite good in your vehicle.

Thanks for the info. Do you get any rattling with that setup?

On my 190e, I removed the first aid kit tray and mounted the Basslink under the rear deck, it did rattle a bit, but I used some small pieces of rubber to isolate the Basslink from the rear deck, that took care of the rattles.

No issues on the 500e.
