Good Alarm System...
I have not been to impressed with my 2000 ML320 Alarm System that comes stock with the car. The range sucks, and it is a standard alarm that no one pays attention to... does anyone recommend a good alarm system that pages me if its broken into....
is it dificult to get installed, like can any professional install it, or will they run into problems?

Late model Mercedes benz has excellent security (although range can be an issue sometimes).
Because of that security, you won't be able to install aftermarket security systems.
If you want a paging service, guess what, you already have that. Your SOS system, if you have it active, will call you if you alarm has been set off for over 20 seconds.

SOS is standard on practically all 2000+ vehicles.
Its a red button (usually) with the enscription SOS on there. It has GPS capability for road side assistance, etc...

Located at the overhead console (dome light switch, sunroof switch, etc...), the TeleAid button looks like this:
if you have this button, then you have the GPS tracking feature. Not too sure about the Euro Models.

We dont get "teleaid" in most of Europe. Germany can have Teleaid - the rest cant. And I dont know if Teleaid is made available on ML in Germany.
The German Teleaid is different to the US Teleaid (in technology, possibly in functionality)
