Does anybody have any experience with the Alpine ex-10? Im looking for a less expensive alternative to the Gateway 500. It looks like this unit will hook into the aux jack in my glove box so no FM modulation. Also, it has built in bluetooth so I can use my phone hands free through the car speakers.

I know that I will have to deal with another screen, but I thought I could find a way to tuck it into the ashtray area.

the way the plugs are on the unit, you are not going to tuck that thing anywhere.

It is pretty nice with the built in Bluetooth but you will have to be in ipod all the time to make it work

 

you can also bypass the mount and wire the plug to the screen for a vertical application, though you will need to make arrangements for 3" of cable that will be seen
