Speaker grill removal for 05 W211
Does anyone know how to do this? I have seen the thread L@@k at this, but it appears to be for a different year as in those pictures you can clearly see the speaker actually fits into the mold of the AC controls, where on mine, it appears that the AC mold stops at the top of the grill, and then the grill itself comes right up to the dash unlike as seen in the pics in the thread mentioned. I am not able to find any tabs and I have attempted to pry up on the grill a little from the corners but I feel I am going to break something so I have stopped and am now at your mercy. What I am trying to do is see if my speaker is acutally blown or if I have the common flap problem that I need to just put some foam tape down to fix. Any help would be great.

True, it is different from 6/04 onwards.
This one "just pries off". The advice is to use a long wedge starting from the "10 to 11" and "1 to 2" o'clock area.
