James, you will need to hear my system and check out the install. If you like I can refer you to the shop I use. Its called Soundstations in Santa Clarita, CA. My system is not one that would qualify for shows or big events but its clean with no engine noise and good sound reproduction inside the entire cabin- this is with cost being a factor.

Hey Vic!

You know i've read about that shop from an audio magazine but just can't remember where they're located. So Vic give me the run down on you system. I know you have some JL subs and seperates how big are the subs, how many subs, amps setup?? And how much to install everything and how long?

Thanks!

A friend of mine had 4 12" Pheonix Gold Subs before.... I got a migrane from being in the car, and had stomach trouble from the mixing of my intestinal... stuff.

It was awesome!

Yeah, he was sponsored by Speaker Works. He took 4th in the western regional. That was before he switched to 8 15" subs. I don't know if he ever did. Don't keep in touch with him anymore.

Smile Mobile Fantasy

Go to Mobile Fantasy on Ventura Blvd. They do amazing work. They do the cleanest installations I've seen. Do a lot of Mercedes so they have experience and they only carry the best sh*t. Check out their website at www.mobilefantasy.com

Smile Quality is very good. highly recommend it

They do audio systems not for the sake of making money or moving products but because its what they are good at and what they enjoy. They fine tune everything and I have been very impressed with their work. Some of the stuff I have seen at thier shop is phenomenal. As soon as I raise some capital I am going to get 2 Phoenix Gold titanium amps, custon plexiglass enclosure w/ neons and another Alpine 12" sub, and Boston Pro's. I currently have 1 Alpine 12" Type R powered by an Alpine V12 Amp. There work isnt cheap but its very slick.
