aftermarket radio setting off sensors??
A mercedes technician told me that if I install an aftermarket radio, ( i wanted one with TV/dvd/nav.) that it would eventually start setting off sensors on my dash computer, and my teleaid would not work either, because the audio system is all fiber optics. Has this happened to anyone here??? What have you guys done to solve this problem?? will changing the amp fix this??

..............I have heard this before and obviously i say this with all available disclaimers...........it is not true. You are also told not to use another type of cellular phone in your car as this will interfer with the cars electronics. The proof that this is not true is that multitudes have installed after market radios etc without any problems.
