Yeah that's a GSM card, used in most of the rest of the world, and the GSM networks in the U.S (T-mobile/former Voicestream) I believe are GSM....that's just your telephone number, plus some extra memory for phonebook, etc...you could have the same phone number but on another cell phone by just removing the GSM card and putting it into the other phone.
