Parrot CK3000/connects2 - only one speaker working

I have just installed Parrot CK3000 with Connects2 ppar005 steering interface in my 2007 C220 coupe. However I seem now only to be getting sound from one speaker (in the passenger door) only - this is all the time when listening to radio or cd. The phone functions /mute etc work ok.
I feel sure that sound was coming from all speakers as normal when I tested it before reinstalling the centre console so maybe I have dislodged the connects2 interface plug somehow when reassembing ? Any ideas....seems strange that I get only one of the six ?

Incidently the connects2 ppar005 harness which accepts the 40pin plug from the merc harness has 2 blue 'blocker' strips across some of the pinholes which I had to remove .....was this correct ?

Before I start uninstalling again can anyone offer any suggestions ?

Mike.
