Dash Speakers on W210
The dash speakers on the W210 are real cheap and are only used for the built in telephone. I want to replace them with some high quality stereo speakers and hook them up to the stereo. The problem is I can't find any that will fit. I got some good 3" ones, but they still are a little to big. I guess what I need are 2 1/2" speakers, but I just can't find any. Anybody ever tried to do this?

Well I managed to get the 3" speakers installed. It was a delicate job, but now they are in. The stereo sounds great now - what a difference. I can't believe Mercedes did not install quality speakers in this location and hook them up to the stereo.
