Command installs in Northern VA
I am planning to have a Command installed in my 03' CLK 500 by Steve (MBenzNL) at the end of January. He'll be in New York at that time. Steve mentioned that a few people from Virginia might be interested. I have offered to let Steve use my 2 car garage to perform installs if he has enough to make it worth his while to visit Northern Virginia.
Feel free to reply to this message or email Steve if you would be interested in a Command install in Northern Virginia. I live about 30 miles west of DC in Sterling, VA.

I'm interested on getting Command on my C230 Coupe. The question is: does he has any Command unit to sell? If not, did someone has any information (besides German Ebay) on where to buy a Command unit?

I have one other friend who may be interested in an installation in Northern Virginia. But so far, it looks like there isn't a whole lot of interest in this area. Looks like I may need to drive to New York !

How many installs do you think you would need Steve to make it worth visiting Northern VA? Have you received correspondance from anyone other than those I listed ?

There is one more person who rather comes up to your place then to NY...he has a W203.
I don't care for how many installs I have to come over just as long as all my additional airfares get compensated/paid for by those who get the comands installed.

Sounds like Steve's gonna have a big party in 2 weeks!

So, what is the status on this? Did the install-fest happen? If so, I live in Herndon and would love to see someone's completed Command install. If not, I'd love to attend.

Yes, it did happen Tad. Steve was at my house on Monday, 3 February and did a great job installing Commands in my 03' CLK 500 and two other Virginian's MB's.
You are welcome to check out my Command install anytime. You can't tell the difference from factory.
