Irritating Bluetooth issue
I can sync my 8830 WE Blackberry just fine with my S and my C class, but with the E-class there is 1 quirk. The address book appears on the screen, and incoming calls numbers appear, but when dialing out it always appears as UNK. Is there a setting I goofed up? I'd rather see the actually number.

This may happen if you have multiple numbers listed under a single name. The only way around it that I know is to list only one number under each name in your phone book. Repeat the names in your directory with slight variations (e.g., wife home, wife cell, etc).

Not sure how to determine firmware on bluetooth puck. It was OEM with a 2007 Bluetec. the 2009 S550 I have is fine, and the C280 has no issues as well.

The less capable Bluetooth puck has a part number of B 6 787 5839. The newer and more capable version (newer firmware) is part number B 6 787 5878. These are not firmware versions, but are MB part numbers. The part number is on the back of the puck.

Still shows UNK when dialed, but now it does show the numbers when being entered. Might be some dumb issue with my Blackberry -- it has been flaky lately.
