How many speakers & Wiring help..
Hey guys,
I picked up my 05 C55 about 4 months ago and have been doing some minor upgrades for the engine, but now I am beginning to work on the exterior and sound system.
Couple of questions.
1. I have the upgraded sound system that has 12 speakers. Where are all of them located?
2. Does anyone have any schematics of the wiring by the amp or of the sound system?
I was installing my new tail lights the other night and noticed that there had been some major modifications to the wiring by the stock amp. The previous owner must have had a pretty big system in the car before as there is two 2 gauge power wires running back there. A bass control module and you can see where he tapped in to all the stock wiring. I dont believe all of my stock speakers were hooked back up correctly.
I will be installing my own amp and some Diamond Audio seperates up front, but would really like to figure out what is going on back there...

The wiring diagram would show which speakers your car has (obviously the wire colours too). You would get the wiring diagram and other info from Startek. If you only need the speaker wiring colours, perhaps someone will help you so that you don't have to visit Startek if this was the only thing you were after.
