CD Question?
Waiting to order a CD changer for my C240....
trying to do something in the interim...does those cassette adapters for the disc man type units work on the MB head units, because of the folding cassette door? Does the wire get caught in the door and screw things up? Should I not try and wait for the changer to arrive? Thanks......

That is okay, you can force the door to close, but keep the wire on the left hand side, so that the sensor for the door will not make the radio beep. I did that with my radio and nothing is wrong with it. I put in a MD Player, and I am waitting to put in a cd changer. So don't worry about it.

For road trips, we run our computer through the stereo with a cassette adapter. We tried the adapter with closing the cassette face, but it seemed to us that it put too much strain on the casstte door. Instead we built a little plastic block that presses the 'closed button' while leaving the cassete door open.
