SDS DIY US to Euro conversion
Hi Guys,
I've been quoted 500 bucks to have my W164 US electronics (lcd displays on instrument gauge) converted from imperial to metric and also have my MCSII COMAND scan the full FM frequency range.
Tha guys admits it's only 30 mins work - but then he has a SDS. Can anyone advise any SDS DIY hacks. I.e Is it possible to host the program on a laptop. Anything alternatives like durametric, like Porsche has?
Sorry if this is an old question but I'm more than a little upset on how MB breaches fair trade on this!!!!

DannyFu,
why don't you just change it in the Instrument Cluster via your steering wheel buttons? I drive around in German language, with Celsius and km/h, km instead of the miles. Just for the fun factor though. Before I go to maintenance appointments I switch to Imperial but always leave German in also in my COMAND!
