Replacing Bose amp and speakers on the W210 Navigation command unit

We replaced Bose speakers and now we need to tak out Bose amp from eqation. I'm looking for a source of the low level signal feeding that Bose amp. I understand it's probably crossed over out of command unit so we plan to use some sort of summator device - just looking for any hint on the pinout's, etc. Also learned what midbass out of Bose is out of phase - can somebody confirm it

Hey LCat - the W210 head is linked to the Bose amp via D2B fiber unless I'm mistaken...

You're not mistaken, UK-C200. The feed from the head unit to the Bose amp is via fiber optics. Unless LCat want to replace his whole system, he will need to add an amp after the Bose unit, stepping down the Bose amp's output.

He should also be aware that a Bose system uses its own active equalization designed for the system (including the speakers) and tweaked for the car. Replacing parts of the system, such as speakers only, may yield unsatisfactory results.
