Hi

There is a similar one for MB w140 models at Japan.
Its picture is attached below.
Price is about $40.
I don't know if it is made in Japan or not.

How does it work?
As I understand, there is a sensor which checks the car speed and sends a signal to COMAND system continuously.
This module makes and sends a fixed false signal(instead of
the true module signal) to COMAND system ,
so that COMAND will think the speed is very low no matter
what the real speed is. As a result there will be no screen
cut-off signal and you can watch TV without blocking.

That module has a selecter switch.
It is a kind of on-off switch.

Regarding my work for my car,
though I have necessary software and hardware,
no time to concentrate on trying.
I hope I can try it by early Feb.

This module you can see at www.threepoint.co.jp/18.html
(This is not English site.)
