In-dash head unit
Ok, so I was really wanting to get an in dash kit that doesn't eject, tilt, or move, just stays stationary. When I look on crutchfield.com it says all the in-dash ones do not fit. Is this right?? Are any of you running an in dash kit that has these features? I don't wanna spend more than $6-700, although every reciever that is in-dash says it won't fit my car :-/
Also, I need bluetooth and a way to connect my iPod and still use my steering wheel buttons..

They both have bluetooth, but im not sure if anyone has gotten the steering wheel controls to work on the 05-07 w203's yet. well at least I cant find anyone here or any other MB board, not even sponsors can give me definite answers..
there was a post about PAC units and our cars yesterday, do a search. i guess if people that live in socal can bring in their cars for research they can get this problem solved. i think you still have to have the OEM setup but i am not sure.
someone should bite the bullet and bring in their car, it would help so many people.
seriously though for all the gains a good aftermarket unit gives you compared to OEM i don't mind not having steering wheel controls. every other feature is way better than OEM, so having to touch the screen instead of a button on the steering wheel is not a deal breaker for me, i am so much more happy with my setup than the OEM one i barely notice. and you still have the steering wheel controls to cycle through everything else, it just doesn't work for the audio portion.

Right now i have the DNX8120 and i love it. I just want to be able to control a few things with the steering, mainly the volume since the 2 sets of volume buttons on the 8120 are pretty small, and a bunch of music on my hard drive are all at different levels, it'll just be a lot easier for me...
