Take the fuse out for the COMAND unit for 10mins, cont....

I had to do that once when I had glitches with the sound system cutting out?

I think theres no harm in doing it, as it worked for me and dealer recommended it (in UK)

But try at your own risk. .

Kind Regards

HI

I have a CLK, you will have look at your manual for the fuse box, and with your toolkit (spanner, tire stuff, etc...) there will be a small white plastic tool to remove and install fuses. The fuse box is under the hood (in my case it was, but there are 3 seperate fuse boxes) But in the one under the hood there is a card which will tell you which one is for the COMAND. Pull it out for 10-12 mins and put it back in. Try that.
